Carbon PBX is a mobile PBX (switchboard) application, which:
- Creates a full business telephone system
- Runs on your existing smartphones
- Provides you with business telephone number(s)
- Allows multiple users
- Transfers calls free between any users, no matter where they are
- Receive all incoming calls for free
Carbon PBX needs no investment, hardware, phones or infrastructure needed, it uses your existing smartphones (this makes the "total cost of ownership" really low compared to traditional and VoIP telephone switchboard systems).
Carbon PBX call quality is always exceptional because it does not rely on your cellphone data connection to make calls, calls are made by real GSM (cellphone) voice calls instead. All Carbon PBX calls are made by pure GSM voice which gives you a trusted, managed, guaranteed network quality, whereas VoIP calls use a "best-effort" technology over data, which is only as good as your data connection and is particularly challenged when you are not connected to good WiFi. In contrast, Carbon PBX calls work perfectly and sound great no matter where you are, even way out in the countryside on a sketchy one-bar signal.
Carbon PBX calls are not billed to employee SIM cards: Calls made by your employees from their cellphones using the Carbon PBX app are billed to the company account, so your employees will never have to be refunded for business calls they make.
Carbon PBX protects employee privacy: The Carbon PBX app uses your NoPBX company number(s) to make calls, which means even though your employees are calling using their own smartphones and SIM cards, their privacy is protected and their personal numbers are never revealed.
After-hours calls can be directed straight to the company voicemail to further protect employees personal time.
Lastly, unlike competing hosted PBX systems, with Carbon PBX there are:
